This is a journey, not a race. There is nothing to win - enjoy the journey, embrace it. My unsolicited considerations for success from here on out:
1. Be present in whatever it is you choose to do (show up every day, be there on time, and when you are there, focus on making a contribution).
2. Work hard. That doesn’t mean 60-80 hours per week. Just work hard.
3. Be nice. To everyone. Colleagues, your boss, the janitorial staff and receptionist. It’s so much easier to be kind and respectful as opposed to the alternative. Always being kind over always being “right” is an underrated quality! (Big secret: It feels better too).
